Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis. A series of four looks exploring the environmental toll of fashion, sustainability, waste, and regeneration through the lifecycle of a dress as juxtaposed with the life cycle of a flowering plant. While the traditional clothing garment is constructed from synthetic or plant-based fabric, worn, soiled, and eventually burned in a landfill, the life cycle of the flower is regenerative—while its body decomposes in the soil, its seeds ensure the return of a new plant for the following year.
